If you are like some people you might keep a close eye on our stock market. If you are like most of the people in this country, you really don't. Most people that really keep a close eye on these stocks are people that own companies that sell items to the public. They are your carmakers, frozen orange juice companies, and oil companies just to name a few. People like me just know that it is there.
The stock market is a place where they buy and sell items for this country and sell to other countries. Every day many of these items are sold over the wires, and this is how they come up with the stock prices. They have many workers in this company. There are the buyers, sellers, and the runners. The runners are the busiest of all of these people because they are always running from one section of this large place to the other, getting all the information from one person to the other. They will go from one investor to the other, and then bring this information back |
